Oriented Polyester Tape
DESCRIPTION:
SHRINK TAPE II is an oriented polyester tape designed to shrink during the cure cycle and apply pressure to the
composite lay-up or adhesive bond. ] |
|
|
APPLICATION: |
SHRINK TAPE II is normally wrapped over the laminate on the mold with pressure sensitive tape put in place to
prevent movement during cure, The assembly is then exposed to heat and the SHRINK TAPE II begins applying
pressure (onset of shrink) at 175 F (79 C) with maximum shrinkage at 400 F (205 C). SHRINK TAPE II is
available with or without perforations or release agent coating.
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
Roll width: 1.25″ and 2.50″ 3.17 cm & 6.33 cm
Roll length: 100 yards. 91.4m
Shrinkage: 20 % maximum
Onset 175 F 79 C
Maximum use temperature: 400 F 205 C

Data Sheet SUPERLEASE BLUE
Coated nylon peel ply
DESCRIPTION
Superlease Blue peel ply is a high temperature fabric coated with a silicone release agent. It provides superior
release to plain peel plies because the coating prevents the fabric from bonding to the laminate while
producing a textured surface. It will provide easy release from most prepregs and resin systems. All coated peel
plies have the potential to transfer. Superlease Blue is a tightly woven, coated nylon peel ply that releases well
with most resin systems. It is a superior peel ply for resin infusion or other resin rich processes.
Hi CBENEFITS
+ Release coating reduces the effort required to remove peel ply from laminate.
+ Peel plies strip off of cured laminates leaving a textured surface, reducing time spent hand finishing.
+ Fabric has been scoured to reduce need for removing contaminants off cured laminates.

Data Sheet STRETCHLON 700
Bagging film with an excellent flexibility
iC DESCRIPTION
Stretchlon 700 vacuum bag film is a high elongation elastomeric film which is designed for cures up to 385 F (195 C).
It is particularly suitable for applications where softness and elongation are required. The risk of bridging in the
corners is highly reduced due to the elasticity of the film. This film stays soft even in a very low humidity environment.
Stretchlon 700 is recommended for cures with phenolic and epoxy resins.
@ BENEFITS
+ High elongation film avoids bridging in corners and improves part quality.
+ Chemically resistant film avoids blown bags with aggressive resins.
+ Avoid cost of scrap and rework on complex phenolic parts.
