ection 3. Composition / Information on Ingredients
Ingredient Name: The individual components of Precision Board PBLT are composed of only
two ingredients. They are polyurethane foam and carbon dioxide. Neither is a hazardous
material under conditions of normal use. When the ingredients of Precision Board PBLT are
mixed tedetiels a chemical reaction takes place which transforms the ingredients into a
completely new material a polymer called polyurethane foam.
This chemical reaction is exothermic. The heat generated by the reaction causes the
formation of carbon dioxide gas. It is the carbon dioxide which bubbles through the plastic
while it is turning into a solid that creates the polyurethane foam.
Polyurethane foam is not hazardous, is non-toxic, and is an inert polymer.
All components of Precision Board PBLT are listed on the TSCA Inventory.
None of the components in Precision Board PBLT are listed by IARC, NTP, OSHA, or
ACGIH as a carcinogen.
